Accreditations and Certifications

Everything on this page can be verified independently. Certificate numbers, issuing bodies, scopes and expiry dates are all stated, because an accreditation a buyer cannot check is not much use to them.

Management system certification

Certified by Forefront Certification Ltd, a UKAS-accredited certification body (UKAS 8933), member of the Association of British Certification Bodies and covered by the IAF multilateral recognition arrangement.

Scope: all three certificates are issued for security guarding services. We state that rather than leave it implied, because the scope is on the certificate and a buyer pulling it will see it. Our other services — hoarding and boarding, welfare accommodation, delivery management and traffic management — are delivered under the same management systems but sit outside the certified scope.

Health and safety prequalification

These are one assessment with two outputs rather than two separate audits. SafeContractor Ltd is a UKAS-accredited Type C inspection body under ISO 17020:2012 covering the SSIP Core Criteria, and the SSIP Deem to Satisfy status is produced by that assessment. Both can be validated through the SSIP Portal.

Procurement prequalification

Gold membership certifies that we have met prequalification requirements appropriate to public and private sector procurement. It is certified against the Common Assessment Standard, the industry prequalification standard owned by Build UK and CECA, which means a main contractor who accepts CAS does not need to put us through a separate prequalification of their own. The Social Value entry is a certificate of completion of Constructionline’s Social Value question set. It is not an award, and Constructionline notes that supplier status is dynamic, so current status should be confirmed on their platform.

Standards we work to

Licensing

Every security officer we supply holds a valid licence issued by the Security Industry Authority for the role they are performing. Licence details are available for verification before mobilisation, and can be checked against the SIA’s public register.

Personnel are screened to BS 7858, which covers identity, right to work and a verified employment history over a defined period rather than a reference check. Security dog handlers are trained through the National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU), with handler and dog assessed and certified as a working team.

Insurance

Certificates of insurance are available on request.

What we do not claim

Two points that are usually left ambiguous in this industry, stated plainly:

We do not hold SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) approval. Andor Group Limited is a subsidiary of Guarding Professionals, which does hold ACS, but ACS approval attaches to a specific legal entity and is not inherited by a subsidiary. Our own application is in progress. Until it completes we do not claim it, and you should treat any supplier who claims a parent company’s approval as their own with caution.

We are not carbon neutral or net zero, hold no offsets and have published no dated commitment. What we do hold is ISO 14001, which certifies an environmental management system rather than a small footprint.
